Cooking Instruction

Any one method of cooking can be adopted according to your usual practice of cooking and the desired quantity. Wash and soak the rice for 20-30 minutes for best results

Cooking Instructions for Open Pan

Bring water to rolling boil, add the Sajda Rice and stir gently. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes on medium heat. Drain and rise with more boiling water.

Cooking Instructions for covered Pan

Bring water to rolling boil, add the Sajda Rice (ratio of 2 measure of water and a 1 measure of rice) should be boiled in heavy based vessel, and then cooked for 10 minutes covered with lid on low heat. Allow 5 Minues for cooking.

Cooking Instructions for Microwave

Put soaked Sajda Rice and water in a bowl. Sit once and covered with a cling film. Cook for 15 minutes. Remove bowl from the oven and leave it to stand or 10 minutes before serving. (For a 650 watt microwave, 300 gms of rice ar a time)

Cooking Instructions for Electric Cooker

Put the soaked Sajda Rice in the cooker. Add the measured water. Switch on the cooker. The 'cook' to keep warm model. Allow the rice to steam at the "keep warm" position for 10-15 minutes
