Cooking Tips
- Pre Cooking : Rinse the rice thoroughly. Soak for 20 mints.
- Measures : Open pan cooking-5 cups or water for 1 cup of rice.
- Closed Pan Cooking – 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. (The rice may require slightly more or less water to cook depending on how hard or soft the water is.) Add 1 TBS of butter or oil or margarine; and salt to taste

Cooking Instructions for Open Pan
- Bring water to rolling boil. Add the rice and stir gently. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes on medium heat. Drain and rinse with more boiling water.

Cooking Instructions for covered Pan
- Bring water and rice to boil, cover Pan with tight lid and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat the allow it to stand covered for 5 minutes.

Cooking Instructions for Microwave
- Place the soaked rice and water in a bowl. Stir once and cove with a cling film. Cook for 15 minutes. Removed bowl for the oven and leave it to stand for 10 minutes before serving. (For a 650 watt. Oven, microwave 300 gms of rice at a time.)

Cooking Instructions for Electric Cooker
- Place the soaked rice in the Cooker. Add the measured water. Witch on the cooker. The rice cooker will automatically switch for the 'cook' to keep warm model. Allow the rice to steam at the 'Keepwarm' position for 10-15 minutes.
